Sales Office is also referred as a branch office, it is a location where a group of people work to sell the products/services.
- It is a geographical aspect of the organization structure in SD
- Sales offices are assigned to a sales areas. A sales office can be assigned to one or more sales areas.
How to Maintain Sales Office in SAP
This SAP SD tutorial guides how to maintain a sales office in SAP Sales and Distribution.
As per the requirements, we are going to maintain the following sales offices in the SAP system:

- IMG Menu Path :- SAP Implementation Guide (IMG) > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Sales and Distribution > Maintain Sales Office
- Transaction Code: OVX1
Step 1: Enter Transaction Code SPRO in the SAP Command field and press enter.
Step 2: Click on SAP Reference IMG
Step 3: Follow the IMG menu path for maintaining a sales office in SAP
Step 4: Click on New entries to create a new sales office
Step 5: On new entries of the sales office creation screen, enter the following details:
- Sales Office: Enter the Sales office Key and
- Description: Update the sales office description.
After updating the data, press enter, and a new window opens to enter the address details for the Sales office
Update the address information for the created sales offices
After maintaining the address details, click on the save button and save the details.
Thus, the sales office is successfully configured in SAP SD.
