- One Distribution channel can be assigned to one or more Sale organizations.
Assign Distribution Channel to Sales Organization in SAP

Prerequisites to assign distribution channel to Sales Organization
The distribution channel represents the channels of an organization to distribute goods or services to customer. Sales Organization controls all the activities of sales in an organization.
How to assign distribution channel to sales organization in SAP system
Step 1: Enter SAP T-code” OVXKN” in the SAP Command field
Step 2: On the “Assignment Sales Organization – Distribution channel screen, click on new entries for assignment of distribution channel to sales organization in SAP
Step 3: On the New Entries of Assignment screen, update the following details
- SOrg: Enter the Sales organization key for assigning the distribution channel
- DChl: Enter distribution Channel for assignment to sales organization, Press enter key to validate the data by system.
After the assignment of the Sales organization to the distribution channel, click on the save icon to save the configured data.
Successfully we have assigned distribution Channels to sales organizations in SAP.
