How to Activate Business Place in SAP S/4Hana

In this SAP tutorial, you will learn how to activate the business place features in the SAP S4 Hana system. The business place is activated at the country level/ Region Level.

You can activate the business place by using the following configuration steps:

  • SAP IMG Path: SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Cross Application Components > General Application Functions > Business Place > Activate Business Place.

Step 1: On the change view “Activate Business Place”: overview screen, check if the business place is activated for your country.

If the business place is not activated, click on the “New Entries” button

Step 2: On the new entries screen, update the following required details

  • C/R: Enter the Country or Region key
  • BP Active: Enable the option to activate the business place to the Country or Region.

Click on the “Save icon” and save the details.
