The inspection points define identification, default values for evaluation of the inspection results assigned to an inspection operation.
How to define inspection Points in SAP S4 Hana QM
You can define inspection points in SAP Hana quality management by using the following navigation method.

Step 1: Enter the transaction code “SPRO” and choose the option “SAP Reference IMG”
Step 2: On display IMG screen, follow the IMG menu navigation path Quality Management – Quality Planning – Inspection Planning – General and click on IMG activity “Define Inspection Points”
Step 3: On change view “Inspection point/user field combination,” the overview screen displays the link of inspection points defined in the SAP S4 Hana system.
You can create new inspection points as per the requirements or use the standard inspection points.
In this configuration, we are defining inspection points by copying the standard inspection points. Select the field combination key and click on the “copy as” button.
Step 4: On change view inspection point/ user field combination details of the selected screen, update the details of field combination, short text, user fields, valuation, function modules.
Click on the Save button and save the details
Successfully we have defined inspection points in SAP QM.
