Task List Status is used in logistics task lists of an inspection plan, reference, operation set, routing, etc. The Task List status controls the functions in Quality Management application components such as Release for use, Release for a standard cost estimate, consistency check, etc.

How to define task list status in SAP HANA QM

You can define task list status in SAP Quality Management by using the following navigation method.

Step 1: Execute transaction code “SPRO” and choose “SAP Reference IMG”

Step 2: On display IMG Screen, follow the IMG menu Quality Management – Quality Planning – Inspection Planning – General and execute “Define Task List Status”

Step 3: On the change view “Task List Status” overview screen, it displays a list of Tasklist status defined in the SAP Hana system. You can define new task list status as per an organization’s requirements.

To create new task list status, click on the new entries button.

Step 4: On new entries of the “Task List Status” screen, update the following details

  • Status: Update the status key that specifies the processing status of a task list
  • Description of Status: Update the description of the status key
  • ReInd: Released indicator specifies a reference operation set is released for usage in routing and plans
  • Cstng: Costing indicator specifies that task list is released for costing
  • Cons. Chk: Consistency check before posting specifies that consistency check is automatically carried out before a task list.

Click on the Save button and save the defined task list status in the SAP Hana system.
