Task List Usage in the SAP system enables finding an appropriate task list for a certain inspection type. For each task list usage, you need to maintain appropriate dynamic modification criteria to update the quality level.
How to Define Task List Usage in SAP S4 HANA QM
You can define task list usage in SAP Hana Quality Management by using the following navigation method.

Step 1: Execute transaction code “SPRO” and choose the option “SAP Reference IMG”
Step 2: On the display IMG screen, follow the IMG navigation Quality Management – Quality Planning – Inspection Planning – General and execute the IMG activity “Define Task List Usage”
Step 3: On the change view, the “Usage” overview screen displays the list of Task List Usage defined in the SAP S4 Hana system.
To create new Task List Usages, click on the new entries button.
Step 4: On the new entries of the Task List Usage screen, update the following details.
- Usage: Enter a 2 digits key that defines Task List Usage in SAP S4 Hana QM
- Description: Update the description for newly created Task List Usage in SAP
- DCR: Update the dynamic Modification Criterion for Usage.
After updating the required details for Usages, click on the Save button and save the details.
Successfully we have created new task list usages in SAP Hana System.
