What is Valuation Level in SAP?
The valuation level in SAP S/4Hana is an important configuration step, that determines the level at which materials stocks are valuated at plant level or company code level.
How to define valuation level in SAP S/4Hana
You can define valuation level in the SAP S/4Hana system by using the following configuration steps
- IMG Menu Path: SPRO > IMG > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Logistics – General > Define Valuation Level
Step 1: Execute transaction code “OX14” in the SAP command field of SAP S/4Hana
Step 2: In the SAP system, you can maintain valuation areas with any one option
- Valuation level is a plant
- Valuation level is a company code
After maintaining the valuation level, you can not change the valuation areas. In our case, we have already assigned the plant to company codes, so you can not change the valuation areas.
