How to change customer master record in SAP
In this SAP Tutorial, you will learn how to modify or change customer master record in SAP system. After creation of customer account in SAP, you can update the details of customer as per requirements of client.
Important Transaction codes
- FD01 – Create Customer Master Record
- FD02 -Edit customer master record
- FD03 – Display customer master record
- FD05 – Block or unblock customer master record
- FD06 – Set deletion indicator
You can change customer master record in SAP by using the following navigation method
- Transaction code: FD02
- SAP Menu –> Accounting –> Financial Accounting –> Accounts Receivable –> Master Records –>Change ( Customer Change )
1. Enter transaction code “FD02” in SAP command field or follow the SAP Menu – Accounting / Accounts Receivable / Master Records / Change.
2. On customer change initial screen, update the following details
- Customer: Enter the customer account, that you like to change the details
- Company code: Update the company code that the customer account belongs to
3. On change customer: General data screen, update the required details for customer account and click on save button to save the updated details in customer master record.
