SAP SPRO – SAP Project Reference Object
SAP SPRO stands for SAP Project Reference Object. SPRO is a transaction code used to configure and implement the SAP system as per the requirements of an organization.
- All the configurations of SAP will be done through the SPRO transaction code
- After Executing SPRO Transaction Code – > Choose SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
- SAP Customizing Implementation Guide refers to customizing settings for all modules available on this screen
Menu path for IMG:-
Implementation Management Guide ( IMG ) menu is used for customization settings for all modules in SAP R/3.
The transaction code SPRO ( SAP project Reference Object ) is used to configure and implement the SAP system as per the client’s requirements.
- Transaction code:- SPRO
- Menu Path :- SAP Menu –> Tools –> Customizing –> IMG –> SPRO – Execute Project
In SAP S4HANA system, you can directly navigate to the IMG screen using the transaction code SIMG. This is one of the change where you can directly navigate to the Implementation Guide screen using the direct SAP transaction codes of SIMG.
SAP Reference IMG Screen.
Here is an example of how the SPRO transaction code is used:
Enter transaction code “SPRO” in the SAP command field and press enter to continue
After executing the SPRO t-code, Customizing: Execute Project screen will be displayed. Click on “SAP Reference IMG ”
After executing the SAP Reference IMG, the Display IMG screen with customizing implementation Guide will be displayed. Here is an image of the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide, where all the SAP modules {Financial Accounting, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, HR, Re-Fx, EHS Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, etc.} are implemented.
